What is ProfCom?

ProfCom is a web-based tool for the interpretation of genes that were identified to be functionally linked by experiment.

What can ProfCom tell me?

ProfCom automatically generates statistically valid hypotheses / biological models from gene or protein lists supplied by the user. This knowledge can help to improve your understanding of genetic mechanisms involved in biological phenomena under study.

Why Use ProfCom?

Distinguishable features of ProfCom include prepared annotation datasets for model organisms and a novel profiling procedure for identifying enrichment related to complex functional categories.

Additional advantages:

Availability

ProfCom is available free of any charge and is open to all users.
